Can we connect and operate other RGB filters to QImaging cameras?

QImaging cameras have been designed to work with a single RGB liquid crystal filter. This filter is controlled by the camera and automatically combines the three images to create a single color image.

Although it is possible to use other filters with QImaging cameras, you will need to perform three separate snapshots, then combine the images into a single color image. Some software packages automate this process by controlling a QImaging camera and a third-party color filter simultaneously.
