Rolera EM-C² Binning Functionality Description
Due to technical design requirements, the Rolera EM-C² camera incorporates a combination of vertical analog binning and horizontal digital binning. The vertical clocks are set in such a way that the charge is combined in the vertical direction before readout (as in typical binning), while in the horizontal direction, binning is performed in the digital domain, after the analog signal is read out and digitized.
