QImaging Windows 8® Support Statement
QImaging cameras using the QCam driver are now supported in Windows 8 Operating Systems. Please download the latest QImaging QCam driver to get your camera up and running in Windows 8 today.
Note: Requires software application compatibility with Windows 8 in addition to the latest QCam driver. Additionally, cameras that require the PVCAM driver are not currently supported in Windows 8.

QCam Installer for MAC

QCapture Suite PLUS includes several additional features to the standard QCapture Suite Windows application including stream acquisitions, time-lapse acquisitions, scale bars, and flat-fielding.

|In recent updates, Microsoft released two hotfixes which updated their FireWire stack file. However, these updates cause performance drops in the functionality of Texas Instruments (TI) FireWire Controllers which ship with QImaging cameras. These performance drops manifest with the following symptoms:
Installing the Thesycon 1394 stack fixes these problems by replacing the default Microsoft stack. This remedies any problems caused by the updates.
The Thesycon FireWire stack has been thoroughly tested and does not cause any other conflicts or problems with any devices.
