When you purchase a QImaging camera, you have the confidence in knowing that you can continue to conduct your research without interruption. QImaging is proud to boast that every one of its cameras is backed by one of the best warranties in the industry.


Standard Product Warranty Plan

A Standard Product Warranty Plan is included with every QImaging camera purchase. This Warranty Plan includes parts and labor for two full years! The Standard Product Warranty Plan is provided on all new and used equipment, including retired demonstration cameras.

Extended Product Warranty Plan

Extended Product Warranty Plans are conveniently priced and very easy to purchase. Available for all QImaging cameras, the Extended Product Warranty Plan includes parts and labor and is available as a three year package for newly purchased products, or products still under standard warranty. This three year extension is in addition to the standard two year warranty for every QImaging camera and begins from the date when the standard warranty expires.

When you purchase an Extended Product Warranty Plan from QImaging, you are assured of our commitment to minimizing down times. Your needs are our top priority and we respond to them immediately. The QImaging service and support team is focused on expediting your request to provide a fast and complete solution.

To ensure compatibility with the most current and advanced computer platforms and operating systems, QImaging tests its cameras with a variety of computers to ensure best compatibility and performance.

The following outlines QImaging's recommendations based on recent tests and customer experiences. Also provided are computers that are not recommended with QImaging cameras.

Recommended Computers

Dell Computers

QImaging has found the following Dell products provide high reliability for microscopy computer systems:

  • Precision
  • XPS
  • Alienware

Computers Not Recommended

Dell Computers

QImaging recommends avoiding these "budget" Dell models due to consistent use of low-performance parts:

  • Optiplex
  • Vostro
Gateway Computers

QImaging recommends avoiding Gateway computers for use as high performance microscopy workstations. In general customers have experienced both stability and high speed acquisition issues on a regular basis.

Additional information for users with laptops

Note: The notebook/laptop editions of these processors are inferior to their desktop counterparts and are not guaranteed the same performance.

Furthermore, all Core i3 processors have a small onboard cache and an integrated graphics adapter- these two factors combined yield poor streaming performance for real-time devices like QImaging's scientific cameras. As a result, Core i3 processors are not recommended.
